Here is the loving-kindness blessing which appeared in today's "Daily Meditation" by Richard Rohr:
May you be happy.May you be blessed.May you be free and peaceful.May you be ever loved.May you be always loving.
Breathe deeply and repeat this blessing, holding in mind each of these folks, one at a time:
- Someone you know and love dearly.
- Someone you barely know.
- Someone who annoys/bothers/troubles you in some way.
- Yourself.
It's a great mindfulness practice that blesses our world and ourselves.
