Our adventure yesterday took us from Wichita to Grants, New Mexico. I can't say there was much scenery in Oklahoma or Texas, but New Mexico is quite interesting terrain. This is my first time in New Mexico--another state crossed off the list. We had happy hour at the Junkyard Brewery--literally a working junk yard and brewery in one. There are lots of plateaus here and loads of rock, including coal black lava rock. We hit four states today--Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico.
Onward to Arizona today,
