My six-month-old grandson is getting used to his new high chair and learning to eat "real" food. His dad, being an excellent chef, is having great fun introducing new foods. Have you ever seen a little one trying assorted foods for the first time? It's a riot--the faces, the rejection, the wide open mouth that says, "more, more!" Their two dogs are going to LOVE hanging around Luca's high chair!
Our first day of travel, about 400 miles, went very well. We found a lovely Mexican restaurant within easy walking distance from our hotel in Conway, Arkansas. Being from Kansas, we have to remember how to pronounce "Arkansas" here. Tomorrow's destination is Birmingham, Alabama.
