Which seems a sense of joy to yield
To the bare trees, and mountains bare,
And grass in the green field.
--William Wordsworth
I feel the blessing in the air acutely, being at the beach with relatives I love dearly. Monday turned out to be a perfect beach day, sunny and warm, with the predicted rain nowhere to be found. My niece and I went on a mid-morning beach walk. After trekking on the flatland of Kansas, walking in soft sand is quite the new challenge for the leg and hip muscles.
After a sweaty day on the beach, how good a shower feels! We went out for supper to the Old Crab Cake Factory, where we enjoyed, of course, crab in assorted forms. It's great that there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the condo.
Loving the earth and sun energy,
Leta
Awaiting our crab feast |
